We are a small business just like you. The current economic crunch affected us too. We had to find an inventory tool that was affordable and help us quickly find the fine line between shortage and excess in our inventory buys. Do you support various operating systems?

We currently support the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Can I import data from an existing data source?

Yes! You can import Manufacturers, Vendors, Items, and Customers from external data sources, such as a Microsoft Access database, Excel spreadsheet, DBASE database, or text files. Use the import feature under the File menu.

Is there a limit on the number of Items, Vendors, or Customers I can have when using this (KIM) Kinetic Inventory Management Program?

No! The only limits you may have are based on your current equipment. Larger inventories may require additional memory, storage space and may be more processor intensive.

Can the KIM Program also work with multiple computers connected together?

Can the KIM Program be run on a network?

The KIM Program uses a Microsoft Access database as its main project file. This means that all the data is able to be accessed by multiple users. The program can be accessed from a server or be installed directly onto the individual workstations.

How does licensing work with a purchase of each download of the (KIM) Kinetic Inventory Management Software?

The licensing of each (KIM) Kinetic Inventory Management Software program is one per-computer. Each license of the KIM Program allows you to run it on one computer at a time. You can install the same license on a maximum of 2 computers, but only one of them can be running KIM at the same time.

Licenses can be transferred to another computer as long as you uninstall the previous one. Re-installing KIM on the same computer with the same license is allowed.

What about future upgrades?

For major upgrades, all customers who purchased within 1 year of any upgrade release will get the upgrade at no additional cost. After 1 year after your date of purchase, you have the option to purchase future upgrades, offered at a discount to thank you for using the KIM Software.

How can I buy the (KIM) Kinetic Inventory Management Software?
